Hi, I’m Rebecca — the owner and maker behind Walla Walla Candle Co., a woman-owned, small-batch candle business based in Walla Walla, Washington.

My candle-making journey started unexpectedly. I bought a candle-making kit on Amazon and let it sit untouched for almost three years. Then, during the early days of Covid, curiosity (and boredom) finally took over. I opened the bag and poured my very first candle.

It was ugly. It wasn’t level. The scent was too weak, and the wick was too small and off center. But it was a candle — and it burned.

That small flame lit something much bigger. What started as a simple experiment quickly turned into a genuine love for candle making and a fascination with how powerful scent can be. A single fragrance can instantly bring back vivid memories, create comfort, or completely change the way a space feels.

That feeling is the heart of Walla Walla Candle Co. Every candle is thoughtfully hand-poured in small batches using quality ingredients, with a focus on clean burns, balanced scents, and cozy, nostalgic vibes. My goal is simple: to create candles that make your home feel warm, familiar, and inviting — whether you’re winding down after a long day or filling your space with a scent that feels like you.
